Sputnik Module for WorldPay - User Experience
With the Sputnik Module for WorldPay applied to
your Captive Portal, users authenticating with your managed Wi-Fi network will be presented with plethoric options for
payment.
In our example below, an end-user tries to navigate to their homepage at http://www.onebrick.org.
The WorldPay settings were configured according to what's outlined in the Administrator Guide.
- The user, Laika, will be presented with your Captive Portal signup page. Our example is
the fictitious "Whirling Spheromak" coffeeshop and tea-lounge brand, but yours can be completely customized
to reflect your business, the venue offering wireless access, or information about its geographic location.
- Laika is presented with the options you've defined in SputnikNet . Notice you can offer service plans in multiple currencies, shown here in U.S. dollars and Mauritania Ouguiya (MRO). Choosing the most affordable option, she continues.
- Laika clicks to sign up for an account, and chooses a unique username and password. When she clicks submit, she'll
be redirected to WorldPay for payment.
- Below, the user is redirected to WorldPay for payment. She sticks with the default currency (USA Dollars) and clicks Visa.
- In this final screen, she enters her payment information and clicks, "Make Payment." If the transaction is authorized, she'll be redirected to her default homepage, with the entire transaction, account signup, and payment taking no more than a minute.
