Sputnik Support for Third-Party Devices
Our goal is to offer you a wide choice of Wi-Fi routers. However, not all routers are created equal. Here's an overview of Sputnik support for various third-party devices.
Routers Sold by Sputnik (Sputnik-Powered Routers)
You can find a list of routers currently sold by Sputnik here.
Support level:
- We flash, pre-provision and test Wi-Fi routers before we ship them to you.
- We stand behind the devices we sell with a 30-day return policy and one-year warranty.
- We provide technical support for routers sold by Sputnik.

Sputnik-Supported Routers
You can find routers that have been tested by Sputnik to run Sputnik-powered firmware by searching for them in our firmware download database.
In the case of consumer-class routers (such as Linksys WRT54G series), please take note of the serial number. If the serial number is outside the range indicated in the firmware database, your router will not be able to run Sputnik-powered firmware.

Please note: we don't provide technical support for flashing third-party routers, however extensive documentation is available.
Other Third-Party Routers
Many other routers are capable of running the Sputnik Agent as part of DD-WRT firmware. The list is long; unfortunately we can't test them all.
Support level:
- We're unable to provide technical support for untested routers.
- You can request Sputnik Agent support for your favorite router model. We're constantly expanding the list of Sputnik-Supported routers.
