Introduction to Sputnik Technology Training. Need a quick technical overview of Sputnik solutions? “Introduction to Sputnik Technology” covers provisioning Sputnik-Powered access points (APs), Sputnik Control Center basics, customizing a captive portal, remote AP management, implementing network policies, and an overview of Sputnik software modules. The course is approximately two hours long, and can be taken at our offices or over the web.

Basic Deployment Planning. If you need assistance planning your wireless network deployment, Sputnik's experts are on hand to help. Based on information that you supply regarding your deployment goals, we will draft a proposed network map that includes the number and kind of access points, antennas, software, and accessories required. Note: this is not a site survey, but rather an educated estimate based on information you provide. The full cost of the Basic Deployment Plan can be applied as a discount on your next Sputnik order (minimum amount, $5,000). In addition, we can pre-configure your order to comply with the Plan, at your option.

Install SSL Security Certificate. SputnikNet On Site utilizes industry-standard SSL to secure all end-user authentication. In order to utilize this security feature, you must install a valid, signed SSL Certificate issued by a CA (Certificate Authority) such as VeriSign/Thawte. Need help installing an SSL certificate into your SputnikNet On Site account? Let us take care of it for you. (Note: the price does not include the cost of the SSL certificate, which can run $150-$300.)
